Life and career
Antonia Laites, born July 1, 2000 in Connecticut, earned a bachelor’s in public management from Florida Atlantic University in 2021. Before TV, she modeled and worked as a pool cabana server at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. As a teen, she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. In June 2025, she became the first bombshell—and first American bombshell—on the twelfth series of ITV2’s Love Island. Upon entering the villa, she picked Ben Holbrough to couple up with, leaving Shakira Khan single. She then coupled with Conor Phillips, but after a recoupling on day eight, she and Malisha Jordan were both single. The two women dated new arrival Harrison Solomon, who chose Laites to return to the villa. She and Solomon stayed together until Casa Amor, when she recoupled with Cach Mercer. She later got back with Solomon until he voluntarily left the villa, then reunited with Mercer. Laites and Solomon argued over his interactions with Helena Ford and Lauren Wood. Viewers liked her quick wit and comebacks, plus her friendship with Khan and Yasmin Pettet. The trio often clashed with Ford and Meg Moore, prompting viewers to pick sides. Laites and Mercer won the series. In October 2025, she revealed she was homeless after her win due to visa issues; her visa was approved later that month, and she moved to the UK. Since 2025, she and Pettet have been ambassadors for Crohn’s and Colitis UK. In 2026, she was announced as a contestant on the first full-length series of The Celebrity Apprentice. She also became a co-host of the Love Island companion vodcast The Debrief alongside Pettet and Khan, and joined Love Island: Aftersun as a permanent panellist.
