Lore & Background

Kragg is a member of the Wallbuilders, a group tasked with maintaining the Rock Wall that surrounds the Aetherian Forest. In the story of Rivals of Aether, Kragg encounters Wrastor and Bradshaw from the Air Armada while they are on a scouting mission. They spot a giant breach in the Rock Wall and descend to investigate. Kragg attacks them, assuming they are there to exploit the wall's weakness. During the fight, Kragg manages to severely injure Bradshaw due to Wrastor's carelessness, forcing the two to retreat as Wrastor swears vengeance. After the battle, Kragg is attacked by a figure resembling Maypul. He initially believes the Wallbuilders have been betrayed by the forest-dwellers, but Mayreed arrives to confirm this Maypul is an imposter. She sends Kragg to track down the real Maypul, unaware that he is being followed by Wrastor. Kragg eventually converges with the other warriors at a crater in the center of Aether, where they discover a stone structure leading to an abyss from which shadow creatures emerge. The warriors put their rivalries aside and battle together to vanquish the shadow creatures. After emerging victorious, Kragg makes amends with the others and agrees to prepare should the shadow creatures ever return.
