Gameplay

Hubert the Teddy Bear: Winter Games includes eight winter-themed minigames, such as snowball fights and snowman building. It supports both single-player and multiplayer modes, with the Olympiad mode accommodating up to 16 players. Three difficulty levels are available: child, youngster, and adult. Players can customize characters by choosing genders, giving names, or changing clothes. In the sledge ride minigame, players hold the Wii Remote vertically and move it up and down to gather speed, collecting gifts lost by a bunny. Playing on icicles presents five icicles on screen, each associated with a button on the Wii Remote or Nunchuk; players repeat a heard melody as precisely as possible. Fishing requires swinging the Wii Remote or Nunchuk and pressing a button displayed above a fish to catch it, or the fish escapes. In bunny chase, players wave both controllers to catch a bunny, jumping to evade beams or pressing B and Z simultaneously to slide under a branch. Making a snowman involves using the Nunchuk stick to move left or right and performing gestures or pressing a presented button. Running up a hill has players wave both controllers to run and move left or right to evade snowballs; crashing with a frozen snowball loses points, while pressing Z speeds up, smashes a regular snowball, and collects gifts. Snow fight requires pressing A to aim, swinging the Wii Remote, and pressing Z to throw a snowball. Decorating a Christmas tree involves choosing decorations by pressing A and hanging them on the tree in a marked place.
