Expansions and spinoffs

Booster Boxes are sold separately and contain a new deck of each card type; as of 2007, Booster Boxes 1 and 2 are available, along with a New York edition pack. Cadoo is a children's version incorporating tic-tac-toe elements; sold between October 2007 and January 2008, it was recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission because the die's surface paint contained excessive lead. Conga targets a slightly older audience than Cadoo and includes a musical timer for cooperative play with three or more players. Cranium Hoopla is a timed cooperative version for two or more players. Cranium Hullabaloo is a children's dancing game. Cranium Kabookii is a Wii video game mixing original and new activities. Cranium Scribblish resembles the game of telephone: players draw a caption, pass it, caption the drawing, then draw that caption; winners correctly guess which drawing started as their own. Cranium The Family Fun Game is similar to the original with minor changes. Cranium Turbo Edition is designed for faster play. Cranium Wow includes new cards and activities from Turbo. Cranium Pop 5 (2006) is pop-culture focused, where one team assigns a point value (1–5) based on how the other team guesses via acting, drawing, humming, sculpting, or letter cubes. Cranium Brain Breaks offers 200 one-minute mini games. Other spinoffs include Cranium SpongeBob SquarePants Edition, Cranium Partyland Park (a Vtech/Vsmile children's game), Jam Pack Jam, Cariboo, Balloon Lagoon, Bloom Bingo, Cranium Zigity, and Cranium Dark.
