Colleen Coyne

Colleen M. Coyne is an American ice hockey player who won a gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics. She was born on September 19, 1971.

Playing career
Before heading to the University of New Hampshire, Coyne prepped at Tabor Academy. As a defenseman for the Wildcats, she earned all-league honors. She anchored the U.S. blue line at the 1998 Olympics, finishing with a plus-7 rating. A 1994 hockey card also featured her.
Hockey administration
Coyne joined the USA Hockey Board of Directors in 2005 as an athlete representative, and three years later was voted onto its executive committee. She also sits on the board of Celebrities For Charities. During the 2010–11 CWHL season, she was named to that league’s board. In 2021, Coyne became president of the Boston Pride in the NWHL, where she handled business operations, strategic growth, and community outreach.
