International Oi! band with roots in the Polish migrant punk scene.

Last updated

Booze & Glory are an international punk band formed in London in 2009, rooted in the Polish migrant punk scene in the UK. They play primarily Oi! and street punk music.

History

Booze & Glory was formed in London in 2009 by Mark, Liam, Bartez, and Mario. Mark, Bartez, and Mario are originally from Poland and were already known in the Oi! scene there. The band released their debut album Always on the Wrong Side in 2010 through 84 Records, followed by two Split EPs with the Harington Saints and The Warriors. Their second album, Trouble Free, came out in 2011.

The song "London Skinhead Crew" has a video that has been viewed more than thirty-five million times on YouTube and as of July 2026 remains the band's most successful song. In 2013 Bartez and Mario left for family reasons and were replaced by Swedish drummer T. Cliché and Bubbles. The band signed with Step-1 Music in 2014 and released As Bold as Brass, followed by Chapter IV in 2017 and Hurricane in 2019.

Music style and lyrics

Booze & Glory’s music is modern British Oi! built on catchy rhythms and crowd-pleasing singalongs. Their lyrics explore British life, celebrating the working class, the London skinhead scene, and enjoying beer. The band shows pride in England, London, and West Ham United football club. While they take no political stance otherwise, they have openly rejected the right-wing skinhead movement and take pride in their members’ diverse nationalities.
