Gameplay

In this game, players take on the role of Jack, who must evade arrest by the Popper Police, a cartoon law enforcement group. Getting caught leads to consequences based on how many laws have been broken and whether Jack has collected nickels, the in-game currency. Detective Frank Harris may either give a lecture or demand bail, typically ten coins. To build up a nickel stash, players can visit Las Vegas and store their coins at the Cool World bank. Other locations include a pawn shop for buying or trading items with nickels, and the Slash Club, where a date with Holli Would can be arranged. At Holli's apartment building, Jack must climb the exterior to reach the date; if no date was set beforehand, he is thrown back to the ground. The malt shop offers candy and other sweets, but entry requires collecting several pieces of candy first.
