St. Croix River Hounds
A repeatedly delayed Northwoods League expansion club.
The St. Croix River Hounds were a planned summer collegiate baseball team in the Northwoods League, with former MLB players Tom Quinlan and Robb Quinlan among the owners. First reported in July 2017 as a possible 2018 start, the debut was repeatedly delayed. By February 2025, a league spokesman said the intention remained for the River Hounds to begin play in 2026, though the team was not included in that season's schedule.
