Spencer Haywood (born April 22, 1949) is an American former professional basketball player and Olympic gold medalist. He is a member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, inducted in 2015.

Haywood was traded to the New York Knicks in October 1975 from the Seattle SuperSonics for $1.3 million, a first round draft pick, and Gene Short. He played for the Knicks from the 1975-76 season through part of the 1978-79 season, when he was traded to the New Orleans Jazz. During his time with the Knicks, he averaged 19.9 points and 11.3 rebounds per game in the 1975-76 season, 16.5 points and 9 rebounds per game in the 1976-77 season, and had career lows in scoring and rebounding in the 1977-78 season.
