Territory
Nestled entirely within the province of Belluno, this 32-square-kilometer park stretches between the Cismon and Piave rivers, as well as the Maè and Agordo valleys. Its rugged landscape features the Alpi Feltrine ranges, including Vette di Feltre, Cimonega, Pizzocco, Brendol, and Agnelezze, alongside Monti del Sole, Schiara, Talvena, Prampèr, and Spiz di Mezzodì. High-altitude zones, karst rock formations, and debris slopes create a haven for alpine species. Apart from a few elevated karst areas, the park is brimming with water—springs, swamps, and streams like Cordevole, Mis, Caorame, Stien, Falcina, Ardo, Vescovà, and Prampera. These waterways carve through deep canyons and fluctuate with the seasons. The park encompasses 15 municipalities: Belluno, Cesiomaggiore, Feltre, Gosaldo, La Valle Agordina, Longarone, Pedavena, Ponte nelle Alpi, Rivamonte, San Gregorio nelle Alpi, Santa Giustina, Sedico, Sospirolo, Sovramonte, and Val di Zoldo.
