The Singapore national baseball team represents the country in international play. Baseball returned to Singapore after World War II; one of the first recorded games featured visiting American Navy officers at the Padang. The national side started entering official tournaments in the early 2000s.
In the Asian Baseball Cup – Eastern Division, Singapore has competed in several editions. At the 2002 event in Thailand, they finished sixth. Two years later, also in Thailand, they placed fifth and earned their first international victory, beating Sri Lanka 12–10. In the 2012 edition in Thailand, the team came fourth, defeating Myanmar 4–3 with all four runs scored in the final inning. At the 2015 tournament in Indonesia, they placed sixth, and in the 2018 edition in Hong Kong, they finished fifth.
The team has also taken part in the Hong Kong International Baseball Open multiple times. At the 2013 Hong Kong International Baseball Open, they placed fifth and threw a no-hit, no-run game against Team Shenzhen in their final placement match.
