Franchise goals leader – Filip Forsberg (310+ goals)

Lore & Background

From his first full season in 2014–15, Forsberg displayed a natural scoring touch, combining speed, a powerful shot, and hockey IQ. He quickly became the offensive cornerstone of a team traditionally built on defense and goaltending. By the late 2010s, he was regularly topping 25 goals per season, and his clutch performances in the playoffs—including a memorable hat trick in Game 6 of the 2017 Western Conference Final—made him a fan favorite. Forsberg's rise to the franchise goals record was a gradual but relentless climb.

His signing of a long-term contract extension in 2022 ensured that his name would remain atop the leaderboard for years to come. Beyond the numbers, Forsberg's style—a blend of skill and grit—embodies the Predators' identity, and his record stands as a testament to his durability and consistency in a league where scoring is increasingly difficult. He didn't just break a record; he shattered the notion that Nashville couldn't produce a pure goal-scorer.
