The eleventh season of *Naruto: Shippuden* adapts material from Part II of Masashi Kishimoto's manga. This anime-original story arc ran from July to December 2011. The plot centers on Naruto Uzumaki, Yamato, Aoba, and Guy as they travel by ship across the ocean toward Paradise Island, while the rest of Konoha gets ready for the Fourth Great Ninja War. The season was directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo. Aniplex released it on DVD on March 7, 2012, under the title *Paradise Life on a Boat* (Japanese: *Senjō no Paradaisu Raifu*). The fifth *Naruto* film, *Blood Prison*, was released on July 27, 2011; the broadcast version of episodes 222 through 226 uses "Lovers" as the opening and includes scenes from that film in the opening sequence.
