Mula (nakshatra)
The nakshatra of roots, dissolution, and the goddess Nirṛti.
Mula is the 19th nakshatra, or lunar mansion, in Indian astronomy and astrology. Its symbol is a bunch of roots tied together or an elephant goad. The stars of Mula lie in the tail of Scorpius, near the Galactic Center, which may explain the name meaning 'root'.
