Aegimius

Mythical Dorian king who allied with Heracles against the Lapiths.

Aegimius was the mythological ancestor and king of the Dorians while they still lived in northern Thessaly. He sought Heracles' aid against the Lapiths, offering a third of his kingdom, which Heracles later left in trust for the Heracleidae.
