Valstrax
An elder dragon whose mutant form is called the Crimson Glow.
Valstrax is an elder dragon in the Monster Hunter series. Monster Hunter Rise features a mutant Valstrax dubbed the Crimson Glow, which typically secludes itself in the upper atmosphere but has been driven mad by its own rampant energy; once it sights its prey it swoops down on it. The Sunbreak expansion adds a Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax.
