Lore & Background
Brogdon's Milwaukee tenure began with a surprise: drafted 36th overall in 2016, he won Rookie of the Year, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only Bucks to earn that honor. He averaged the fewest points and minutes per game of any winner in the award's history. In 2018–19, he became just the eighth NBA player ever to achieve a 50–40–90 season and led the league in free throw percentage (.928). That season was cut short by a plantar fascia tear in his right foot on March 16, 2019. He returned late in the second round of the playoffs. On July 6, 2019, Brogdon was traded to the Indiana Pacers via a sign-and-trade.
