Creative Writer is a word processor released by Microsoft Kids in 1993, targeted at children for creating documents such as letters, posters, flyers, and stories. Its interface is set in Imaginopolis, with a character named McZee as the main helper. The program runs full screen and includes features like WordArt, clip art, and sound effects for each tool. A sequel, Creative Writer 2, was released in 1996. An expansion pack, Ghostwriter Mysteries for Creative Writer, was released in 1994.
