Hard Rock Stadium

The Dolphins' home in Miami Gardens.

Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, is the home of the Miami Dolphins and of the University of Miami Hurricanes. It opened in 1987 as Joe Robbie Stadium, named after the team's founder, who decided to build it after the city of Miami wanted to quadruple the rent at the Orange Bowl, the Dolphins' home for their first 21 seasons.
