The 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, held on 5 December 2021 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, was the inaugural race in Saudi Arabia and the penultimate round of the 2021 season. Lewis Hamilton won from pole for Mercedes, with Max Verstappen second and Valtteri Bottas third.

Verstappen had been on course to beat Hamilton's pole time but crashed at the final corner. The race was red-flagged twice in the first 20 laps. Verstappen, who had gone off track to defend his lead against Hamilton, was allowed to restart third behind Esteban Ocon and Hamilton after race director Michael Masi made a deal with Red Bull; Hamilton later built a stronger pace and won.
