Downfall (game)
A two-player disc-moving game of strategy and sequence.
Downfall is a two-player game for ages 7 and up, introduced by Milton Bradley in 1970. Players use a vertical board with five slotted dials per side, starting with ten numbered discs at the top. The goal is to move all discs into the bottom tray in order (1-2-3-4-5) by turning dials on alternating turns. A disc falling out of sequence loses the game. Since players cannot see the opponent's board, moves can accidentally help or hinder the other player. The game encourages strategic planning and setting traps. Hasbro now sells it in the UK as New Downfall with a red-and-yellow futuristic design.
