What the cited sources add

The original Senran Kagura game was released in September 2011 on the 3DS, and a manga adaptation began serialization in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Alive in 2011.[8][9] Senran Kagura Burst sold over 100,000 packaged copies in Japan 37 weeks after its August 30 release.[10] Xseed Games Production Coordinator Hatsuu responded by criticizing the writer's views as superficial and ignorant of the game's characters and story.[11] She also noted that a writer for the magazine had unsuccessfully attempted to boycott the game without doing research.[12][11]

Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash is an action shooting game where characters use water guns and play on teams, featuring over 30 characters.[13]
