Biology and range
GBIF holds 56 occurrence records for this taxon.[2] This species possesses a false-umbilicate shell that is both thick and solid.[4][5] At the periphery, the whorls are carinate.[4][5] A whitish shell color is seen, marked by brown longitudinal flammulations.[4][5]
Narrow brown stripes, which are often broken into tessellations, radiate across the base.[4][5]
What the specialist sources record
The Manual of Conchology notes that the shell's sculpture comprises roughly four spiral cinguli, with the two in the middle being granulose.[5][4]
