As a condition, he must regularly report to the police station, where a new SI named Shameer has taken over. Facing financial trouble, Shaji and his friends decide to enter a tug-of-war competition for a large gold trophy. To raise the 50,000 rupee entry fee, Shaji steals the documents for his house and uses them as collateral for a loan from a loan shark called Irumbu Abdullah.
Meanwhile, a gang led by Dude, unable to return to Bangkok, works in a restaurant. They begin digging a tunnel to rob a nearby bank. They finish the tunnel and break into the vault on the very night the Indian government demonetizes certain currency notes. Shaji’s friends win the tug-of-war tournament and claim the gold trophy, but it is stolen from them on the way home. When Shaji’s mother realizes the house documents are missing, she faints and is taken to the hospital. The group tracks down the thief, Anali Sabu, whose team was the runner-up in the tournament.
Shaji and his friends break into a dance party Sabu is hosting, retrieve the trophy, beat him up, and wreck the place. In retaliation, Sabu and his older brother, the notorious criminal Chekuthan Lassar, burn down Shaji’s house.
