Prologue Campaign
Awaken from the ashes to reclaim Arkesia before Chaos swallows the world whole.
The Prologue Campaign is the starting chapter for every adventurer in Arkesia. It introduces the catastrophic threat of the Dark Legion led by Kazeros and the mysterious Ark. This sequence establishes the player's identity as a survivor chosen as the Guardian of the Ark, tasked with confronting the encroaching darkness.
Lore & Background
Central to this era is the legend of the Ark, an ancient vessel imbued with divine power capable of sealing away the darkness. While its origins are shrouded in myth, the Prologue reveals that a new Guardian of the Ark has been chosen to wield its strength. This awakening marks the beginning of a long journey across diverse regions, as the hero seeks to turn the tide against the encroaching Dark Legion.
Reader's Guide
The journey begins as the adventurer awakens in a chaotic landscape ravaged by the Incursion. Guided by visions and fragmented memories, the player must navigate through hostile territories filled with Chaos beasts. Early encounters introduce key NPCs who provide direction and exposition about the world's state. These allies help the hero understand the nature of the threat and the significance of the Ark they now carry. The questline culminates in a series of trials that test the adventurer's resolve, leading to their first major confrontation with the forces of Chaos. Success here unlocks the ability to travel across the wider world.
