The 1952 National League pennant was the first of two consecutive NL championships for the Brooklyn Dodgers, who won the pennant in 1952 and 1953. The Dodgers did not win the pennant in 1950 or 1951.

The Dodgers' 1952 pennant was part of a stretch of success that included six NL pennants from 1947 to 1956, aided by players such as Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Don Newcombe, and Joe Black. Jim Gilliam did not join the team until 1953. The team would go on to win the World Series in 1955, their only title while based in Brooklyn.
