Dionysus

The infant god born from Zeus' leg.

Dionysus is an infant god in Lore Olympus, born out of the leg of his father Zeus. He was conceived in Zeus' long-running affair with the mortal woman Semele.

Lore & Background

After Semele's death Zeus has Asclepius stitch the unborn Dionysus into his leg, believing his wholly immortal body can keep the baby alive until birth. Zeus orders Persephone to help deliver the infant god at her apartment complex and not to tell Hera. Dionysus has purple skin and white hair, a trait Zeus says runs in the family and is most likely connected to Ouranos.
