Door Key

Lore & Background

A variety of keys created from whispering iron, including the Omega Key, Alpha Key, Anywhere Key, Ghost Key, Head Key, and others. Each has a distinct function and name. The Anywhere Key, for instance, 'opens a door to anywhere the bearer can visualize in their mind,' while the Ghost Key 'separates the soul from the body of whoever travels through the door.' No key is described as a generic 'Door Key' for unlocking physical doors. The known keys are individually named and have specific magical properties beyond simple door unlocking.

Reader's Guide

'there are many keys created from whispering iron that have different magical properties. Some of them are extensively featured in the series, while others are featured very briefly.' The known keys are then enumerated by name. Since 'Door Key' is not among them, it is not a recognized artifact in the Locke & Key universe as documented in the source.
