Scottish former footballer and coach, son of Kenny Dalglish, won MLS Cups with Houston Dynamo.
Paul Kenneth Dalglish (born 18 February 1977) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He played for ten clubs in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland as well as for Houston Dynamo, with whom he won MLS Cup Final medals in 2006 (as Most Valuable Player) and 2007. In coaching in North America he has to date won eight honours from his work with Miami FC and Austin Aztecs.

Paul Dalglish is the only son of ex-footballer and manager Sir Kenny Dalglish and his wife Marina. His elder sister, Kelly Cates, was born in 1975. Both of Paul's younger sisters were born after their father's August 1977 transfer from Celtic to Liverpool. All four siblings were raised living in Southport. Aged 12, Paul was the Liverpool team mascot in the Liverpool 0–2 Arsenal league title deciding defeat on 26 May 1989.

The November air off the River Soar cut through the terraces at Filbert Park, and the away end was a thin ribbon of blue-and-white. Paul Dalglish stood near the halfway line, hands on hips, watching the ball drop into his feet. He turned, read the gap, and played a one-touch pass that split the defence like a seam in old cloth. The home crowd grumbled; the Leicester supporters behind the goal let out a short, sharp cheer. He didn't smile. He never did, not in front of the crowd. But later, in the tunnel, his boots still muddy, he'd nod to a fan who held up a hand-drawn sign reading 'DALK – SON OF A LEGEND.' He'd take the sign, fold it, and put it in his locker. Not for the football. For the kid who'd drawn it.

Paul Dalglish started his career as a youth player with Celtic before joining Liverpool, but made no first team appearances for either club. He was signed by his father for Newcastle United, making 14 appearances and scoring two goals. He joined Norwich City in 1999 for £300,000, then had spells with Blackpool, Linfield, and loan periods with Scunthorpe and Wigan Athletic. After a brief media career, he played for Livingston, then Hibernian, and moved to Houston Dynamo in 2006, winning two MLS Cups. He later played for Kilmarnock before retiring. His coaching career began in 2008 at the Houston Dynamo Academy. He was head coach of FC Tampa Bay, Austin Aztex, Ottawa Fury FC, and Miami FC, winning multiple honours.
