Led Zeppelin Boxed Set
The band's first compilation, a 1990 box set selected and remastered under Jimmy Page.
Led Zeppelin, usually called the Led Zeppelin Boxed Set, is a box set by the band and their first compilation of songs, leaving aside Coda, which some sources class as a studio album. Jimmy Page chose and remastered the tracks. Atlantic Records released it on 23 October 1990 in the United States and on 29 October in the United Kingdom, on four CDs, six LPs or four cassettes, with a 36-page booklet.
The set includes two previously unreleased recordings, "Travelling Riverside Blues" from a 1969 BBC session and "White Summer/Black Mountain Side", a new "Moby Dick/Bonzo's Montreux" mix, and the B-side "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do". It entered the Billboard 200 at number 40. The two-disc Remasters came out the same month, and the songs left off were later collected on Led Zeppelin Boxed Set 2.
