Plot

Professor Noodle, a deranged scientist, has spent over two decades developing a rejuvenation elixir meant to reverse aging. Stan and Ollie, working as chimney sweeps, arrive to clean the estate's chimney. Oliver climbs to the rooftop while Stan, below, accidentally sends him crashing through a skylight. After a difficult exchange, Stan joins Ollie on the roof but mishandles the equipment, causing a chimney extension to collapse. Stan then nearly shoots Ollie while trying to use a rifle. Ollie falls from the roof, damaging property and creating chaos. Noodle demonstrates his elixir by turning a duck into a duckling with a single drop from an eye-dropper. While Noodle fetches his butler Jessup as the first human test subject, Stan and Oliver secretly experiment on a fish. Stan bumps into Ollie on a stepladder, and Ollie falls into the vat containing the entire solution. Ollie transforms into a chimpanzee, still wearing his derby, and tells Stan, as before: 'I have nothing to say.'
