Gameplay
The player begins as Konami Man and can switch between Konami Man and Konami Lady. In two-player mode, one player controls Konami Man and the other Konami Lady, and they cannot switch characters until at least one character is rescued from the six levels. The player selects from six nonlinear levels, each set in a different Konami game, and uses a key to save that game's star character, who then becomes playable. Each character has unique starting abilities and can gain additional ones. The gameplay in these first six stages resembles the original Castlevania games. After completing them, the player proceeds through a scrolling space shooter stage and then a linear final stage. The player can visit Dr. Cinnamon's lab from the TwinBee series, where character profiles are provided and energy is refilled. Dr. Cinnamon's brother, Saimon, can resurrect defeated characters at a cost of 100 bullets per character. Playable characters include Konami Man, Konami Lady, Goemon from the Ganbare Goemon series, Simon Belmont III from Castlevania, Getsu Fūma from Getsu Fūma Den, Michael "Mikey" Walsh from The Goonies and The Goonies II, Moai Alexandria from the Gradius series and Moai-kun, King Kong from King Kong 2: Ikari no Megaton Punch, and Upa from Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (in the mobile phone version).
Music
The music during gameplay depends on which character the player is controlling, with each character having their own theme song. Except for Konami Man, Konami Lady, and Moai, all other characters use music from the Konami games they originally appeared in. The boss music is also taken from the Konami games on which the levels are based. A soundtrack CD titled Wai Wai World 1&2 Sound Collection was released on May 19, 2014 in Japan by Eg Music Records and D4 Enterprise.
