Queen Sophia of Bohemia was the wife of King Wenceslaus IV of Bohemia, who was deposed in 1400. During the course of an uprising against Wenceslaus in 1401, Sigismund aided the rebellion, and the Bohemian king was taken prisoner. Sigismund then ruled Bohemia for nineteen months, releasing Wenceslaus in 1403.
