Bobby Hunt
Texans and Chiefs defensive back on two AFL championship teams.
Robert Kenneth Hunt (August 15, 1940 – July 2026) was an American professional football defensive back in the American Football League who played college football as a quarterback and defensive back for Auburn. The Dallas Texans drafted him in the 11th round of the 1962 AFL draft, and he was first-team All-AFL as a rookie. He moved with the franchise to Kansas City in 1963, when he started 11 games at strong safety with a team-leading six interceptions, and was an AFL champion with the Texans in 1962 and the Chiefs in the 1966 season, playing in the first AFL-NFL World Championship game. After his final Chiefs season in 1967 he was taken by the Cincinnati Bengals in the January 1968 expansion draft.
