Charlie Rose is an American journalist and talk show host best known for Charlie Rose, the interview program he hosted and produced from 1991 to 2017 on PBS and Bloomberg LP. The show drew writers, politicians, athletes, scientists, business figures and entertainers, and was valued for its serious, intellectual tone. He also co-anchored CBS This Morning from 2012 to 2017 with Gayle King and Norah O'Donnell. In November 2017 PBS, Bloomberg and CBS all fired him after The Washington Post reported allegations of sexual misconduct; he disputed that all the claims were accurate, and several awards were withdrawn.
Lore & Background
