In the film, EnEn and Grell from the Fairy Academy investigate the HappinessCharge PreCure! team and contact them directly, while the DokiDoki! PreCure team is already present. Glasan arrives and explains that Megumi and other children are in a mysterious coma. The girls and Hime enter the Dream World via a portal created by the dream-eating fairy Yumeta's power. There they meet Yumeta, whose mother, Mami, casts the girls away and later traps the Pretty Cures in their own dreams. Megumi and Hime, unaffected, infiltrate the Dream World but are captured. Yumeta reveals his mother trapped the children so he would not be alone. Megumi and Hime transform and fight Mami's nightmares; other Cures awaken and join them. With Miracle Lights and Blue's plea, the Cures battle individual nightmares. Yumeta conquers his fear, shows his mother her errors, and with EnEn and Grell's Miracle Lights, they summon Ayumi, who becomes Cure Echo. With Echo and Cure Honey, the Pretty Cures defeat the nightmare, allowing the children to wake. Yumeta promises to become a great dream-eater, and EnEn and Grell write about him, the HappinessCharge team, and Cure Echo.
