Toei Company submitted a trademark application for the series on September 19, 2006.[1] In a final message to fans, the producer expressed gratitude to earlier Sentai series and an essayist for educating them about manga that served as references in the show.[2]

What the cited sources add

The next day, Toei announced that the film was going to be Go-onger vs. Gekiranger, commemorating the 15th of the Super Sentai V-Cinema VS Series.[7] Beginning with Lesson 39 and ending with Lesson 45, the Character Songs replaced the Jūken Academy segments and "Tao" as the ending theme.[4] In the "Go-onger vs. Gekiranger" film, Hiroki Suzuki, Mina Fukui, Manpei Takagi, Riki Miura, Sotaro, Hirofumi Araki, Yuka Hirata, Naoki Kawano, and Kazue Itoh all return to portray their Juken Sentai Gekiranger characters.[3]
