Command Authority is a novel by Tom Clancy, published in 2013. It is one of the final novels in the Jack Ryan series written by Clancy before his death on October 1, 2013. The book features Jack Ryan, a character who began as a CIA analyst in Clancy's first novel, The Hunt for Red October (1984). The book is part of a series that has sold more than 100 million copies in print and has been continued by other authors after Clancy's death.
