Lore & Background
Playdead built Inside in the Unity engine rather than the custom engine it had made for Limbo, adding its own rendering routines, including a temporal anti-aliasing filter called "temporal reprojection", whose source code it released under an open source licence in March 2016. In 2022 PC Gamer listed Inside among the best PC games.
