Faso soap

A Burkina Faso soap designed to repel mosquitoes and prevent disease.

Faso soap, also called Fasoap, is a mosquito-repellent soap developed in Burkina Faso. It is intended to prevent mosquito bites that can transmit malaria, chikungunya, yellow fever, or dengue. The soap leaves an insect-repelling odor on the skin after washing. The company later shifted focus to a mosquito-repellent ointment named Maïa.
