Plot

The Queen of the South Sea, an ancient sex goddess, seduces men and uses a serpent from her vagina to devour their penises. One man grabs the serpent, which turns into a dagger, enraging the Queen; she curses his would-be great granddaughter. In 1989, anthropologist Tania investigates the legend, dives to the Queen's resting place, and is bound to a bed where a serpent penetrates her vagina, allowing the Queen to possess her. Tania massacres civilians in a nightclub and pursues the descendant, aspiring pop star Erica. New York detective Max McNeil investigates and meets Erica. Tania attacks police headquarters, killing officers. After McNeil and Erica have sex in a forest, Tania tracks them but is burned in a car explosion. She continues pursuing Erica, who stabs her with the dagger passed down from her great-grandfather, destroying Tania.

Critical reception

Lor. of Variety noted the film provides camp and novelty value through grotesque situations and laughable dialogue, while action scenes are acceptable but visual effects are subpar. Cliff Doerksen of The Chicago Reader described it as the kind of movie best discovered randomly on cable at 4 AM, adding that director H. Tjut Djalil offers serious treats for fans of mullets. Kyle Anderson of Nerdist stated the movie is not good but is worth watching for its baffling nature.
