Lore & Background

The series begins with Shivanya and her sister Shesha vowing to avenge the murder of Shivanya's parents by the Raheja family. Shivanya marries Ritik Raheja and kills three murderers, but later discovers Ritik is from the Suryavanshi lineage. Shesha betrays Shivanya, and after a final battle, Shivanya kills Yamini, completing her revenge, while Shesha is imprisoned for twenty-five years.

In the second season, Shivanya's daughter Shivangi seeks revenge after Yamini, Shesha, and Avantika murder her family. Shivangi marries Rocky, learns she is a naagin, and kills the eight murderers. Rocky later transforms into a naag, and together they kill Yamini and Shesha, but Rocky stabs Shivangi to death under Ritik's orders.

Subsequent seasons introduce new characters and revenge plots. The third season follows Bela and Vishakha avenging Vikrant's murder, with twists involving the Naagmani. The fourth season, titled Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel, centers on Brinda and Nayantara. The fifth, sixth, and seventh seasons continue with new casts and storylines, with the eighth season scheduled for 2027.
