Plot
The story starts with Kamaraju, a tomcat who is a devoted follower of Manmadha, the god of love. He has the special ability to talk to Manmadha every day while he is involved with many women. Meanwhile, Pandala Paramasivam lives with his daughter Kalpana, who enjoys mocking people through silly bets with his follower Sandeham. They humiliate Kamaraju, so he decides to get back at them by making Kalpana fall in love with him and marry him. Kamaraju begins his scheme to win her over, but he genuinely falls for her and gives up his old ways. While they are flirting, Kamaraju gets into an accident. He pretends to be blind to win Kalpana's affection, but she hates him when she discovers the trick. He then goes on a hunger strike outside her house, and Manmadha uses his magic on her, making her fall in love, leading to their wedding. A conflict arises between Manmadha and Kamaraju over who truly won Kalpana's love, as both see it as a matter of pride. Manmadha disrupts Kamaraju's married life by taking away his voice, which upsets Kalpana, and then appears disguised as Kamaraju's grandmother, causing chaos with strange demands. The real grandmother arrives, and Kamaraju tells her everything, begging her to stay quiet. She urges him to pray to Manmadha, but he refuses. Kalpana finds out about her husband's past as a playboy and the bet with her father, so she leaves him and files for divorce. In court, Kamaraju reveals the truth, which leads to the divorce being granted and him being declared insane. It turns out this was all a dream. Manmadha appears and explains the true, pure nature of love, admitting he faked the whole situation to steer Kamaraju away from his bad path. Kamaraju apologizes to Manmadha, who resolves the issues, and the film ends happily with the couple getting back together.
