Artos (drink)

Andhra Pradesh's first aerated soft drink since 1919.

Artos is a regional soft drink and the first aerated soft drink in Andhra Pradesh. It originated in Ramachandrapuram, East Godavari district, after Adduri Ramachandra Raju acquired a soda machine from the British. Initially feared by locals, the drink gained acceptance when British soldiers were seen consuming it. Artos continued production during World War II by using fruit flavours after imports ceased.
