The Genius Society's Gambit on Jarilo-VI

Lore & Background

The events in Belobog serve as a crucial proving ground within Elio's prophecy. The destruction of the Everwinter and the containment of the Swarm are not merely local victories but necessary milestones for the traveler to grow stronger. Herta, another Genius member, monitors such anomalies from afar, recognizing the significance of these occurrences without directly interfering in the immediate conflict.

Reader's Guide

The narrative arc begins when the Stellaron crashes into Jarilo-VI, an event orchestrated by the Stellaron Hunters following Elio's script. While the Genius Society does not physically intervene during the main conflict, their influence permeates every step of the Trailblazer's journey through Belobog. The Hunter known as Kafka guides the traveler to awaken and confront the Everwinter. Her actions are calculated moves within a grand design intended to fulfill a prophecy written long ago. As the Trailblazer fights through the Frostmoon Valley, they unknowingly act out lines written by Elio. The climax involves destroying the Stellaron's core, which serves as a necessary step for the script's progression. This event highlights how the Genius Society manipulates cosmic events from behind the scenes to ensure the Trailblazer grows strong enough to face future threats across the galaxy.
