Sorceress's Exile
Bound to ancient stone, she watches over a world she cannot freely touch.
The Sorceress's Exile refers to the magical confinement of the Guardian of Castle Grayskull, binding her spirit and powers to the fortress for eternity. While not a punitive banishment by enemies, this state isolates her from the surface world of Eternia, forcing her to observe conflicts from afar rather than participate directly.

Lore & Background
This isolation defines her relationship with Prince Adam and He-Man. She serves as a mentor and advisor through telepathic communication or magical projections, yet rarely intervenes physically in battles. Her confinement ensures that Skeletor cannot easily access the core of Grayskull's power, making her presence both a shield for the kingdom and a prison for its protector.
Reader's Guide
The origins of Castle Grayskull predate modern Eternian history, rooted in ancient magic wielded by King Grayskull himself. Upon his passing, he transferred his essence into the fortress and created a guardian to maintain its power. This guardian became known as the Sorceress. Her binding to the structure was absolute; she could not leave without compromising the magical barrier protecting Eternia from cosmic threats. Over centuries, this duty evolved into a perceived exile from mortal society. She watched over Prince Adam and his friends but remained physically distant. The lore suggests her powers are tethered to the castle's heart, meaning any attempt to walk freely would weaken the world's defenses. This separation defined her relationship with He-Man, offering wisdom without direct intervention in battles unless absolutely necessary. Her confinement ensured that Skeletor could never fully control the source of magic on Eternia. Thus, her 'exile' was a sacrifice for the greater good, maintaining balance between the light and dark forces across the planet.
