Plot
Rio Hōjō, a boy living in Hawaii, picks up Gunpla building from a local enthusiast named Seria Urutsuki. The action unfolds within the same online metaverse as other Gundam Build stories, where users navigate as avatars and battle with their Gunpla. Inside this digital space, a mysterious Mask Lady coaches Rio in the finer points of Gunpla combat. He trains daily to improve, piloting his custom Lah Gundam while searching for tougher challengers.
Characters
Rio Hojo is a young boy from Hawaii who loves Gunpla Battle and trains under a mysterious Diver known as Mask Lady. His own Gunpla is the Lah Gundam, which is based on an entry-grade RX-78-2 Gundam from the original Mobile Suit Gundam anime. Seria Urutsuki works as a clerk at a local hobby shop and teaches a Gunpla class there. Under the alias Mask Lady, she becomes Rio's mentor in building and battling. Her Gunpla is the ZGMF-X20A-PF Gundam Perfect Strike Freedom Rouge, a model that combines parts from the MBF-02 Strike Rouge and the GAT-X105+AQM/E-YM1 Perfect Strike Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed, as well as the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny. Fumina Hoshino is a veteran Gunpla Battler from the sport's early days and leads Team Try Fighters. Inside the Metaverse, she works as an advertiser and announcer. Tatsuya Yuuki, also known as Meijin Kawaguchi III, is a builder and three-time world champion who inherited the legendary Meijin Kawaguchi name and still holds the title. His newest Gunpla is the Gundam Amazing Barbatos Lupus, based on the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos Lupus from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Riku Mikami, often called Riku, founded and formerly led the legendary group Build Divers. His Gunpla is the Gundam 00 Diver Arc, an updated version of the GN-0000DVR Gundam 00 Diver from Gundam Build Divers, which also includes elements from the 00 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and the Gundam AGE-FX from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE. Sarah is an EL-Diver and a member of Build Divers. Momoka Yashiro, known as Momo, is also a Build Divers member; her Gunpla is the MOMOKAPOOL (R×R), an upgraded version of her earlier PEN-01M Momokapool from Gundam Build Divers. Aya Fujisawa, called Ayame, is another Build Divers member, piloting the F-Kunoichi Kai, an SD Gunpla based on the F91 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam F91. Sei Iori is a builder and former Gunpla Battle World Champion. His current Gunpla is the GAT-X105B/EG Build Strike Exceed Galaxy, the latest version of the original GAT-X105B Build Strike Gundam from Gundam Build Fighters. Aria von Reiji Asuna is a prince from the country of Arian, which exists inside a space colony in another dimension. He became friends with Sei Iori, and together they won the Gunpla Battle World Championship.
