Format

Contestants of any age audition with any talent they wish to present. During auditions, performers aim to impress a panel of judges—currently Paula Echevarría, Carlos Latre, Lorena Castell, and Xuso Jones—to advance to live rounds. Judges have red buzzers; if all press, the performance stops. After each audition, judges vote yes or no; a majority of three yes votes is typically required, though in season 7 only two sufficed. Deliberations are untelevised, where judges review acts that received enough yes votes and select a reduced number for semi-finals. Contestants perform live, seeking votes from judges and the public to reach the final and compete for €25,000. A Golden Buzzer was introduced in season 2 for semi-finals, allowing judges to collectively send an act to the finale. From 2024, each judge had an individual Golden Buzzer during semi-finals. In auditions, the Golden Buzzer sends an act directly to semi-finals; in season 1 each judge and presenter could press it once. In season 2, judges could give one golden buzzer individually and one as a pair. In season 3, judges could give a collective golden buzzer. In season 4, judges and presenter gave a collective golden buzzer. In season 7, the presenter could give a golden buzzer as a pair with a judge. In season 9, judges and presenters could no longer give golden buzzers as a pair. In season 10, the group golden buzzer was replaced by the Platinum Buzzer, sending an act straight to the finale. In season 10, one judge was assigned the golden buzzer each semi-final.
