Ephyra
Capital of Tyrus and the COG, on the Jacinto Plateau.
Ephyra, also called Old Ephyra after the construction of New Ephyra, was the capital city of Tyrus and the Coalition of Ordered Governments. The city is on the Jacinto Plateau and borders the city of Jacinto.

Background
Following Emergence Day, Ephyra was one of the few safe cities on Sera due to the Jacinto Plateau's granite bedrock preventing Locust digging. The majority of the Locust War was spent trying to conquer Ephyra. Once thought to be impregnable, the plateau's fissures beneath Ephyra were exploited and allowed an attack by the Locust Army, and the city suffered catastrophic damage. Only a few pockets of Stranded human survivors remained in Ephyra until the Lightmass Offensive.
