Gameplay
A single button handles topspins, slices, serves, and everything from powerful drives to underhand shots. Players can set their character's shot power and foot speed, with the game remembering these adjustments. Singles and doubles are available; in doubles, you can play with a computer partner or link up four players, though each person needs their own cartridge. The game features a gravelly umpire's digitized speech, a techno soundtrack, and a straight-on court view that fills more of the screen. Winning against ranked opponents moves you up the ladder, while losing drops you down. Opponents include showman Ace Riley, reliable Bobby Island, and the Quarter Brothers with their weak serves. After matches, stats show aces and serve percentages.
